2017 Institute on Teaching and Mentoring will be held October 26-October 29 at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in Atlanta, Georgia.
The Institute on Teaching and Mentoring is the largest gathering of minority Ph.D. scholars in the country. For 20 years, the Institute has provided workshops, recruitment and networking opportunities to give Ph.D. scholars the tools to enter higher education. The goal is to promote the continued importance of faculty diversity in the nation's universities.
Registration for the 24th Annual Institute for select groups began in June. Institute attendance is by invitation only for SREB-State Doctoral Scholars, the National Institutes of Health (Bridges to the Professoriate NIGMS-MARC scholars), the National Science Foundation (Alliance for Graduate Education and the Professoriate scholars), the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation scholars and the Office of Federal TRIO Programs, United States Department of Education (Ronald E. McNair Program scholars). You must have a login ID and password to register for the Institute.
